The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is preparing to fully launch its new digital platform, LTOTracker, nationwide after receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback from users during its live testing phase.
What is LTOTracker?
LTOTracker is an online tracking system developed by the LTO to let clients monitor the status of their driver’s licenses and vehicle plates in real time. The platform also offers a home delivery option via accredited courier services—bringing LTO services straight to people’s doorsteps.
This innovation is in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to digitize government services and with the instructions of DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon to improve public service delivery.
Smooth Testing and Strong Reception
Since the platform’s live test began on April 26, 2025, thousands of driver’s licenses and plates have already been successfully delivered, especially in Metro Manila, where the system is now fully operational.
LTO Chief Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II shared that users have welcomed the system, saying it reflects the government’s commitment to real change under “Bagong Pilipinas.”
“We are receiving positive feedback, with some clients saying they can truly feel the improvement in government service,” said Asec. Mendoza.
How to Use the LTOTracker: Step-by-Step Guide
Want to stay updated on your driver’s license or plate status? Here’s how to use LTOTracker:
1. Visit the LTO Tracker Portal
Go to the official LTO Tracker website (Note: the exact URL for the tracker will be updated once officially launched).
2. Enter Your Details
Input your Driver’s License Number or Vehicle Plate Number in the required field.
3. Click “Track”
The system will display the real-time status of your transaction:
- For driver’s licenses: Is it printed? Is it ready for release? Has it been dispatched?
- For plates: Is it already manufactured? In transit? Delivered
4. Check Delivery Info (if applicable)
If you chose delivery, the tracker will show:
- Courier name
- Estimated delivery date
- Tracking number
5. Stay Updated
You can check back anytime to monitor changes or updates on your license or plate status.
6. Claim or Wait for Delivery
- If pickup is your preference, proceed to the LTO office when your document is ready.
- If delivery is selected, wait for the courier. Remember: courier fees are paid directly to the provider.

According to Secretary Dizon, LTOTracker is just the start. The long-term goal is to fully digitalize all LTO services, from renewals to registration.“This is a historic move toward full digitalization and a game-changing innovation that will bring LTO services closer than ever to Filipinos, right at their fingertips,” he said.
